Terms of Service

The legally binding terms between you and Technologies GNETICS Inc. for using GNETICS Assets. Last updated: November 1, 2026.

Draft inspired by the policies of our other platforms (OPS GNETICS, Neo). It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet.

Preamble

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", the "Customer") and Technologies GNETICS Inc. ("GNETICS", "we", "us"), which operates GNETICS Assets at assets.gnetics.ca from the province of Quebec, Canada. By creating an account, paying or downloading a package you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Sales Terms.

Article 1. Acceptance and capacity

If you do not accept one or more clauses, do not use the site. You must have the legal capacity to contract. If you act for a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and the Terms then apply to you and to that company. When you create an account we keep proof of your acceptance: date, version of the policies, IP address and browser.

Article 2. What we sell

We sell digital 3D packages (for example weapons, guns, auras, monsters, rigs, animations and bundles). A package contains the files listed on its product page, such as 3D models, textures and a license certificate. No physical item is shipped. Product pages describe the content as accurately as we can; small differences in appearance between engines or renderers are normal.

Article 3. Account and credentials

An account is needed to buy and to download again. Keep your password confidential: everything done with your account is deemed to be yours. Tell us right away if you think it was compromised. One account per person; do not share it.

Article 4. License

Each purchase gives you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license for the buyer only, Personal or Commercial as chosen at checkout and described on the licenses page. Copyright and all other rights in the packages stay with GNETICS. A license grants a right of use, not a transfer of ownership. It lasts as long as you comply with these Terms.

You may use, edit, recolor and adapt the assets inside your own projects. With a Commercial license, those projects can earn money.

You may not resell, share, sublicense or redistribute the files, alone or inside another asset pack, template or marketplace listing; share your account, download links or a package with other people; or claim the assets as your own creation in an asset marketplace.

Article 5. Identifier on your copy

Each copy you download carries a hidden identifier tied to your license. It does not change how the asset looks or works. If a copy of the files appears where it should not, we may use the identifier to find the license it came from, suspend that license and account without refund, request removal of the copy, and take any further action allowed by law. You may not remove, alter or hide the identifier.

Article 7. Prices, payment and refunds

Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Delivery is immediate and refunds are limited as set out in the Sales Terms, which prevail over these Terms on commercial points.

Article 8. Intellectual property

The site, its code, design, previews, texts and brand belong to GNETICS or its licensors. The packages are licensed, not sold. Nothing in these Terms transfers any right other than the license in Article 4.

Article 9. Warranty and disclaimers

GNETICS acts under an obligation of means, not of result. Packages and the site are provided "as is". We do not promise that a package will suit a particular purpose or work without change in every engine or version, nor that the site will be available without interruption. The site may be unavailable for maintenance or because of third-party providers (hosting, payment, email) outside our control.

Article 10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, GNETICS is not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profit, revenue, opportunity or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the package concerned in the twelve months before the event. These limits do not apply to gross or intentional fault or where the law forbids them. You agree to hold GNETICS harmless from third-party claims caused by your breach of these Terms.

Article 11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account in case of breach of these Terms, fraud, chargeback abuse, abuse of the delivery system or a binding legal order, with prior notice when possible and without notice if the risk requires it. After termination for breach, the license ends and you must stop using and delete the files, with no refund.

Article 12. Trademarks

GNETICS Assets is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or with any game engine vendor. Product and platform names belong to their owners and are used only to say which tools our files work with.

Article 13. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a breach caused by an unforeseeable event beyond its control, including natural disaster, war, large-scale cyberattack, failure of hosting or telecommunication infrastructure, or a decision of a public authority.

We handle personal information in line with Quebec's Law 25. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Article 15. Changes and notices

We may update these Terms. The date at the top and the version number show the latest one. For a substantial change we give reasonable notice by email or on the site, and you may be asked to accept again. Changes do not apply to purchases made before they were published, except where required by law. Notices to you are valid by email to the address on file; notices to us go to contact.gnetics@gmail.com.

Article 16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute belongs to the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, after an attempt at amicable resolution. If a provision is held invalid, the others stay in force.
